ALDO MARIA CAMILLO
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR OF CERRUTI HOUSE

Aldo Maria Camillo has been the new Artistic Director of Cerruti 1881 since April 2012: “I have a deep respect for the unique heritage of the Cerruti fashion house and I’m honored to be appointed Artistic Director.”

After graduating from the famous Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Aldo Maria Camillo began his career in 1998, starting out as Senior Designer in the “Suits and Formal Wear” department at Ermenegildo Zegna from 2006 to 2009. In 2009 he was appointed director of the men’s fashion department at Valentino, where his work met with resounding success.

Aldo Maria Camillo’s precise and ultra-contemporary style has contributed to the creation of a new male silhouette. He is a worthy successor to Nino Cerruti and has vigorously reinterpreted the codes of the Cerruti fashion house, with its famous casual chic silhouettes, by introducing his own vocabulary. Aldo Maria Camillo is breathing new life into Cerruti 1881, the French fashion house with Italian roots, and style both youthful and timeless.
